Seventeen employees at a wholesale store in Pamunuwa have tested positive for Covid-19.
Initially an employee at the store had tested Covid-19 positive, resulting in his close associates to be placed in isolation.
According to the Public Health Inspector in charge of the area, PCR tests conducted on the group revealed that 16 of them had contracted the virus.
PCR tests conducted on 300 employees of a State Bank in Colombo – Fort revealed that 35 of them were Covid-19 positive.
