An 18-hour water cut will be experienced in multiple areas in the Kalutara from 08:00 AM on Friday (10 Sep) to 02:00 AM on Saturday (11), the National Water Supply & Drainage Board announced.
This will be due to the disruption of the power supply to the Kethhena Water Purification Plant for essential operations of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) and for upgrading operations of the Aluthgama, Mathugama & Agalawatte Joint Water Supply Project.

- Pothupitiya
