Two suspects have been arrested in Matale and Kattankudy by the Terrorist Investigation Division on charges of extremism.
The suspect arrested from Kattankudy has been identified as a close contact of Zahran Hashim, while the other has been identified as a deportee from UAE, Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.
