The Sri Lankan Government published a gazette notification imposing a maximum retail price (MRP) of Rs 3,000 for a Pulse Oximeter, while 10 regulations related to selling Pulse Oximeters were also imposed.
According to National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) only five pulse oximeter suppliers are registered with the NMRA:
- Medex Holding
- Sunway Holdings
- Digital Cells
- Mega Meditech
- George Steuart Health
