The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption says that 2,077 cases of bribery and corruption has been received by the Commission throughout the year.
According to the Director General of the Commission, Sarath Jayamanne, out of the 2,077 cases that have been lodged, investigations have commenced with regard to 1,077 of them.
