Sri Lanka Police have arrested 739 individuals for failing to adhere to quarantine regulations in a 24-hour window ending 06 am Saturday (04 Sep), said the Police Media Unit.
Accordingly, 64,647 arrests have been made since the implementation of the qurantine law.
13 Police roadblocks have been set up in the Western Province. 1,959 persons and 1,335 vehicles entering and exiting the Western Province through these roadblocks were inspected on Friday (03).
