Security has been strengthened around the Sri Lanka Parliament today as the debate on the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe proceeds today.
The anti-riot squad has been called and special police personnel have been deployed in the area.
Meanwhile, heavy traffic congestion has been observed near the Parliament roundabout and the Rajagiriya flyover areas.
