Third annual Japanese Fair at Waters Edge on Sunday
The annual Japanese Fair will be held for the 3rd time on Sunday 11th February at Waters Edge, Battaramulla from 4.00 pm onwards. The event will be presented by Waters Edge in partnership with the Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka.
Japanese culture loving groups in the fields of Ikebana (flower arrangement), Bonsai (miniature tree growing), Origami (paper folding), Aikido (modern Japanese martial art), Kyudo (traditional Japanese archery), Sumo (traditional Japanese wrestling) and Japanese Cos-Play (dressing in animation characters) will be showcasing their activities through various workshops and demonstrations. Moreover, delightful food stalls including Japanese delicacy will please the visitors.
