UNP MP Chaminda Wijesiri to leave government

United National Party Badulla Parliamentarian Chaminda Wijesiri has decided to leave the government and act as an independent Member of Parliament, NewsRadio reported. MP Wijesiri told NewsRadio that he will forward his request to Party Leader Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today. MP Wijesiri has stressed that while acting as an independent MP, he intends to reveal several anti-government activities carried out by Sri Lanka Freedom Party members.
