Dr. Ramya de Silva wins BMJ South Asia Award
An honour titled “Healthcare Innovation of the Year” at the British Medical Journal (BMJ) South Asia Award 2107, was won by the Neonatal Transport Project which was carried out by Dr. Ramya de Silva, Senior Consultant Pediatrician at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children, Colombo.
The award was presented to Dr. Ramya de Silva by the chief guest for the awards, Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey, the Minister of State, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at the ceremony which was held at Hotel Shangri-la, New Delhi, India on November 18, 2017.
