Over 200 Commonwealth entrepreneurs join Sri Lanka’s breakfast meeting in London

Over 200 Commonwealth entrepreneurs converged to discuss trade and investment opportunities in Sri Lanka in London last week while the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2018 was taking place in the city. According to the Department of Commerce of Sri Lanka (DoCSL), commonwealth entrepreneurs attended the Sri Lanka breakfast networking session of Commonwealth Enterprise and Economic Council held on the sidelines of CHOGM18. PMD dispels false reports on President’s official CHOGM delegation

President's Media Division (PMD) issuing a statement said false information is being reported regarding the official delegation accompanying the President Maithripala Sirisena to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). The President was accompanied by the President's wife, the President's official doctor, Foreign Minister Tilak Marapana and his wife, Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva, official translator and two officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Malaysian Prime Minister to visit Sri Lanka on December 17

Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak will pay a two-day official visit to Sri Lanka starting from 17 December, the Malaysian Foreign Ministry said in a statement today. The Foreign Ministry Wisma Putra said in a "planned movement" the Malaysian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah was reassigned and given a new assignment prior to the Prime Minister's visit.
