Recognizing the pivotal role data plays in Sri Lanka's journey towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Government of Sri Lanka and the United Nations, jointly organized "#SDGDataLK: Enhancing Data for a Sustainable Sri Lanka"- the First National Symposium on Data for the SDGs, which took place on 20 & 21 March 2018 in Colombo. First of ‘Colombo Development Dialogues’ next month

The Colombo Development Dialogues are convened by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the South Asia Centre of the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE-SAC), bringing together a diverse group of development thinkers, practitioners and policy-makers from the public and private sectors to discuss relevant issues pertaining to current national regional priorities.
