ICC to reconsider Sri Lanka’s membership if elections are not held

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has warned Sri Lanka that it will reconsider Sri Lanka’s membership status if elections for the Sri Lanka Cricket board are not held within six months. The ICC Board today agreed to allow a representative of the Sri Lankan Sports Minister to sit as an observer to the ICC Board and Full Council, but requested that elections for Sri Lanka Cricket are held within six months, failing which SLC’s Membership status would be considered. The decision was announced when the ICC today concluded its five-day Annual Conference in Dublin. Lawsuit after Malaysian flag reported as ‘IS symbol’ in US

A US employee association is being sued after restricting a Muslim man's membership over a row about a flag. Munir Zanial let a property at a lake owned by the organization for a Malaysian Independence Day party. The FBI was alerted when an employee reported Muslim guests were displaying what was described as a US flag defaced with Islamic State group symbols. The investigation ended when it emerged the flag was Malaysia's, but Mr. Zanial was banned from hosting events. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Kansas has now filed a lawsuit accusing the Spirit Boeing Employees Association of "racial profiling and blatant religious discrimination".
