Sri Lanka, Vietnam reaffirm commitment to further advance bilateral political & economic cooperation
Sri Lanka and Vietnam have reaffirmed the commitment to further consolidate and advance bilateral political and economic cooperation at the Third Meeting of the Sri Lanka-Vietnam Political Consultations at senior official level held on Wednesday (11) in Colombo.
The Sri Lanka delegation was led by Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sumith Nakandala, and Vietnam delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister of Vietnam Dang Dinh Quy.
A wide range of matters in the areas of mutual collaboration and ongoing programs in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, education and training, trade and investment, culture and tourism were reviewed and discussed, a Foreign Affairs Ministry statement said.
