The Sri Lankan Sports Ministry is said to announce a momentary award for Paralympic athletes Dinesh Priyantha Herath and Samitha Dulan Kodithuwakku for their achievements at 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.
The 32-year-old javelin thrower and war hero Dinesh Priyantha Herath won gold with a record smashing throw of 67.79m on the F46 category.
Dulan Kodithuwakku won the bronze medal for javelin throw in the F64 category Monday (30 Aug).
