The Sri Lanka-China friendship National Nephrology Hospital is set to open to the public within a few days.
It is considered the largest kidney hospital in South Asia.
Consists of 204 beds,1 00 Dialysis machines, operation theatres specializing in kidney transplants, latest laboratories and other modern technologies.
The hospital is in close proximity to the Polonnaruwa General Hospital.
The construction of this hospital commenced after the ceremonial cornerstone laying by the former President Maithripala Sirisena on the 21st of July 2018.
