Severe traffic congestion has been reported from areas surrounding Rajagiriya, as a result of the construction work of the Rajagiriya flyover.
Police Media Spokesperson, ASP Ruwan Gunasekara, requests motorists arriving to Colombo via Rajagiriya, to use alternative routes to avoid any inconvenience.
He advised motorists hailing from areas of Malabe, Thalangama, Kaduwela, Hokandara, Pannipitiya and Battaramulla to use alternative routes.
