Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says bilateral ties between Sri Lanka and Nordic countries such as Finland, Sweden, Norway and Iceland will be strengthened.
The Prime Minister made this statement during a discussion with Finland’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Harri Kämäräinen.
The Prime Minister’s Media Division said extensive discussions were held regarding the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Speaking at the meeting, Finland’s Ambassador said a group of representatives from several high- level private organizations in Finland are scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka on Sunday.
The group is scheduled to exchange views and ideas with Sri Lankan companies.
Furthermore, several Memorandums of Understanding are also scheduled to be signed between Finland and Sri Lanka on Tuesday.
