The search operations to find the 1o-year-old boy who has gone missing since last Friday, in Samanalawatta, Balangoda is continued for a fourth day.
A military squad joined the search operation yesterday.
The missing child is a grade-five student of the Samanalawatta Vidyalaya.
On Friday, the child had left the home saying that he was going to the forest to meet his father, who was collecting firewood inside the forest.
However, area residents fear that a leopard that was roaming in the area might have harmed the child.
