A Sri Lankan court Wednesday ordered the telephone companies to hand over all the phone records from the mobile phone SIMS issued to businesses under the former Perpetual Treasuries (PTL) Director Arjun Aloysius and the SIMS of his personal mobile phones to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
The Colombo Fort Magistrate Court Wednesday issued the order on a request made by the Senior State Counsel Haripriya Gunasekera on behalf of the Attorney General.
The lawyers representing the W.M. Mendis & Company, a subsidiary of PTL Group, objected to releasing all the data on the servers of the two companies.

Meanwhile, he Colombo Fort Magistrate Court further remanded former PTL director Arjun Aloysius and CEO Kasun Palisena, who are in remand custody over the bond scam charges, until July 19.
