Sri Lankan authorities today revised the death toll from the Easter Sunday multiple suicide bombings to 253, more than 100 less than originally estimated.
Sri Lanka Health Ministry has reportedly said that the death toll of the attacks revised to 253 from the previously 359 after a calculation error was discovered.
Reportedly body parts of the deceased had been counted wrongly in the aftermath of the attacks.
