He will join the Lanka Premier League tournament as a member of the Galle Gladiators franchise.
He is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow and will undergo the mandatory quarantine process.
As a result, he is likely to miss his first few games of the tournament.
Sri Lanka batsman Bhanuka Rajapaksa will be leading the Galle Gladiators in the first game in his absence.
