Donald Trump is planning an early morning sendoff event for himself at a military airfield in Maryland on Wednesday (Jan 20).
Invitations have been issued from the White House for the event, 4 hours before Biden will take his oath.
According to The Guardian, he is facing an impeachment trial in the Senate and a number of criminal and civil investigations, he will not be afforded a big military sendoff just two weeks after a deadly insurrection at the US Capitol by his supporters to fight to overturn the election.
President Trump is leaving office on Wednesday. Plans are underway for a departure ceremony at Joint Base Andrews.
