United National Party (UNP) Mihintale councillor, Indika Rukshan has been arrested on charges of assault by the Mihintale Police.
The suspect was arrested for slapping Opposition leader Nisar Mohamad during a meeting of the Pradeshiya Sabha today (Jan 19).
