Train services will resume once ‘travel restrictions are lifted on Monday (21 Jun), said Sri Lanka Railway.
The Deputy General Manager of the Railway Department, Gamini Seneviratne says the trains will operate only within the provinces in consideration to the ‘inter-provincial travel restrictions’.
Deputy General Manager of the Sri Lanka Transport Board, Panduka Swarahansa says a decision will be made regarding the fate of the bus service.
