Russian Arline Aeroflot resumed operations between Sri Lanka and Moscow today.
The resumption of flight operations comes after a lapse of nearly four months.
The Aeroflot flight landed at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake this morning.
Government officials including Minister of Aviation Nimal Siripala de Silva, Tourism Minister Harin Fernando, and Tourism Authority officials were present to welcome the flight crew and passengers.
