A sub inspector at the Mulleriyawa Police has committed suicide by shooting himself.
According to the police, the sub inspector committed suicide early this morning inside his official house.He is a 57 year old resident of Ingiriya.
“He has shot himself using his own duty firearm,” said the Police Media Unit.
