The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) plans to take legal action against corruption and mafia pertaining to the LP gas supply to the country.
JVP MP Vijitha Herath said the Party will do so once it receives the specifics of allegations made by Litro Gas Lanka Chairman Theshara Jayasinghe.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, the MP stated that Jayasinghe must reveal the names of wrong doers related to the revelations he made to the press last Friday.
“We are perplexed whether it is a Minister, a State Minister or someone above them. It is the responsibility of the Chairman to reveal the perpetrators to the country. This massive fraud behind Litro Gas Limited might as well be swept under the carpet with ease because it is the Government that protects these thieves,” he added.
