The activities of six political parties have been suspended by the National Election Commission.
The decision was taken as the parties are resorting to judicial proceedings due to internal conflicts among them, said the National Election Commission chief Nimal Punchihewa.
He further said the names of the parties will not be disclosed as it will be a disadvantage during an election.
