Another consignment of Pfizer CV-19 vaccien arrives in Sri Lanka

Another consignment consisting of 124,020 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine arrived in Sri Lanka earlier this morning (30 Aug).

The shipment arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) at around 2.30 a.m. on board Qatar Airways flight QR-668.

The vaccines were then transported to the special refrigerated storage at the National Blood Transfusion Center, Narahenpita.

According to State Minister Professor Channa Jayasumana another 15,000 doses of the Sputnik Component 02 will reach the island on Tuesday (31).
