The United Kingdom says all Sri Lankans witnessed deplorable behavior by some members of Parliament, unbecoming of MPs belonging to the noble institution.
British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka and Ambassador to Maldives James Dauris, said, “Voters across Sri Lanka elected Members of Parliament to do an important job. But yesterday Sri Lankans have again seen deplorable behavior by some MPs, unbecoming of them and of their noble institution.”
British High Commissioner James Dauris said no parliament can perform its role, when its own members prevent it from doing so.
