Steps will be taken to facilitate a Call Centre for the treatment of Covid-19 patients. the State Ministry of Primary Health Care, Epidemics, and COVID Disease Control said.
Speaking to News 1st, Dr Sudharshani Fernandopulle, the State Minister of Primary Health Care, Epidemics, and COVID Disease Control said that steps will be taken to provide the required information to the infected patients through the Call Center.
Starting next week, relevant instructions will be provided to the patients by doctors via the call centre, she added.
Dr Fernandopulle noted that there was a small delay in locating hospitals for patients.
“Priority will be given to those aged above 60, those with complications and other diseases, and those who are residing in high-risk areas, given that the capacity of hospital beds is limited,” she said.
