The Ministry of Health noted that 4,200 patients and two deaths have been reported in the year 2018, thus far, due to the Dengue epidemic
The National Dengue Prevention Unit at the Ministry said, a woman from Kantale and a 12-year-old from Colombo had died after contracting Dengue.
The unit informs the public to take an immediate blood test if fever persists, in order to eliminate the possibility of having contracted Dengue.
