The electricity tariffs will be reviewed and revised again by July this year, Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said.
He said the review and revision will be made while keeping in line with the government policy and Cabinet decision taken in December 2022.
The Cabinet decision was taken to implement a cost-reflective pricing mechanism and to review and revise electricity tariffs biannually in January and July of every year. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)
