Five new envoys to Sri Lanka present credentials to President

Four new Ambassadors and a High Commissioner to Sri Lanka presented credentials to President Maithripala Sirisena on Wednesday at a ceremony held at the Presidential Secretariat, Colombo.

The new diplomats assuming duties were High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania to Sri Lanka Baraka Haran Luvanda, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland Adam Burakowski, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Ahmed Hamad Al Mualla, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria Mrs. Brigitte ppinger- Walchshofer and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco Mohamed Maliki.

 

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tilak Marapana and the Secretary to the President, Austin Fernando were present on this occasion.
