Four persons were killed and five were injured when a shooting took place at around 7.15 yesterday morning at the Kudawella fishing harbor in Tangalle.
Two unidentified gunmen on a motorbike have arrived at the Kudawella Fishery Harbor in Tangalle and shot at the fish sellers at the harbor, according to the Police Media Spokesperson.
The injured victims were admitted to the Tangalle Hospital and four of the victims have succumbed to their injuries. Another injured person is in critical condition, stated the Police.
Police have commenced further investigations into the shooting incident.
