The Sri Lankan Rupee continued to depreciate to a new record low on Wednesday as the selling price reached 176.25 against the US Dollar.
Meanwhile the buying price recorded as 172.36 per dollar by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).
The rupee weakened 3 percent so far this month after a 4.7 percent drop in September against the dollar. It dropped 13.5 percent so far this year.
