Sri Lanka Army contributes to implementation of many health projects in the North
Many development programs are being implemented successfully under the guidance of President Maithripala Sirisena and with the contribution of Tri-Forces to uplift the living standards of the people in the North, who were affected by the three decade long brutal war, President's Media Division said in a statement.
At present, a large number of projects which were implemented jointly with the Ministry of Health to improve the health facilities for the people in the North have successfully been completed with the labor provided by Army troops. Those projects were launched under the supervision of the Army Commander Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake.
