Thailand to assist Sri Lanka’s agriculture sector
The government of Thailand expects to offer its assistance for the development of Sri Lanka's agriculture sector through many new programs, the country's envoy has told the Sri Lankan head of the state Maithripala Sirisena.
Thai Ambassador to Sri Lanka Ms. Chulamanee Chartsuwan has revealed this when she met with President Maithripala Sirisena at the President's Official Residence, on Sunday, President's Media Division said.
The Thai Ambassador further said that this cooperation will be implemented in the future with the introduction of programs on using modern technology for the agricultural sector including the introduction of the Post-Harvest Technology and getting water through artificial rainfall.
