Screening of ‘Anatomy of Violence’ and panel discussion with Canadian director Deepa Mehta on Jan 9
The High Commission of Canada to Sri Lanka and Embassy to Maldives, in partnership with United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Sri Lanka, and the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies, presents a special screening of 'Anatomy of Violence' and panel discussion with academy award nominated Director Deepa Mehta.
The event will take place at the Cinema Hall of the BMICH January 9, 2018 from 3:30 -7:00 pm.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion on ending gender-based violence with Deepa Meetha, Dr. Neelam Chowdhry, Mr. Senel Wanniarachchi - Hashtag Generation, and Ms. Ambika Satkunanathan. The panel will be moderated by Ms. Jayanthi Kuru-Uthumpala.
