The National Integration and Reconciliation Ministry under the direction of President Maithripala Sirisena has reportedly initiated livelihood development programmes to support conflict-affected communities. Among these conflict-affected communities are internally displaced persons, refugee returnees, women-headed households, rehabilitated ex-combatants, families of missing persons and low-income families.
