Aircraft carrying 138 passengers returns to BIA after departure
An aircraft carrying 138 passengers, landed at the Bandaranaike International Airport, on the night of November 13 , moments after its departure from the BIA.
According to the Sri Lankan Airlines Spokesperson Deepal Perera, the aircraft, which was enroute to Mumbai, India, had landed due to a technical difficulty.
The aircraft which departed the BIA at 11.30 p.m. on Monday, had made the landing a few minutes after its take off.
“The passengers were boarded to a different flight adding that the said flight took off to Mumbai, on Tuesday morning (November 14),” said Deepal Perera.
