Ceylon Teachers Union General Secretary Joseph Stalin says the ongoing strike by teachers and principals will continue as the discussions held with the Government, including Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees on Tuesday (27 July) had failed to solve the issues on salary anomalies.
The initial step to eradicate the salary anomalies of teachers and principals will be implemented in the next budget, Cabinet co-spokesman Minister Ramesh Pathirana announced today (27).
