The Sirasa Shakthi Sahana Yathra convoys carrying relief aid donated by the general public reached the disaster struck areas .
Relief items donated by the general public were being collected at three collection points which were set up at the head office of The Capital Maharaja Organisation Limited in Braybrooke Place, Stein Studio Complex in Ratmalana and the Depanama Studio Complex.
Following religious observances, the Sirasa – Shakthi Sahana Yathra left for Kegalle, Ratnapura, and Nawalapitiya. Under difficult conditions, some teams reached displacement camps via boat to distribute aid.
