The Sri Lankan Transport Board said today (28) that operation of buses will return to normal from Monday (30).
The Superintendent of Operations at the SLTB, A.S.P. Weerasuriya said that Passengers will be allowed to travel according to the number of seats.
All bus unions were informed that inter-provincial bus services will also resume operations according to the normal timetable starting from Monday (28).
Nilan Miranda, the Director-General at the National Transport Commission said, that the NTC has also taken measures to commence an office transport service to Colombo.
Around 150 buses were deployed for this service, which commenced yesterday, and staff members can use this service at the usual fares, he added.
