An organized criminal known as ‘Aliwatte Asitha’ has been arrested by the Police. He has been produced to Court and remanded.
The suspect is wanted for a murder that took place on 28 April and several other crimes in Mattakkuliya, Modara, and Modara areas.
A hand grenade was seized from his residence in Wattala after the Police had further interrogated the suspect.
The Mattakkuliya Police is probing further into the matter.
