The Attorney General’s Department says it has concluded a total number of 19,091 criminal cases between January 2019 and May 2020.
The Coordinating Officer of the Attorney General, State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne stated this at a media briefing.
She said 10,785 indictments were directed to high courts across the country during the course of the 1 year and 4 months.
