Two suspects have been assaulted for beating a woman to death over a personal dispute at Udakandawela, Melsiripura.
The duo had assaulted the victim after a dispute between two groups had escalated on Saturday (25 July) night.
The 66-year-old female succumbed to her injuries while receiving treatment at the Polgolla Hospital.
Further investigations are being conducted into the incident by the Melsiripura Police.
