Sri Lanka has decided to suspend the distribution of gas to the local market until further notice, Minister Lasantha Alagiyawanna announced.
Nearly 20 gas related explosions were reported in the last 24 hours from various parts of the country.
LITRO Gas company also confirmed that gas distribution was suspended from yesterday until further notice.
However, LAUGFS Gas said it has not been informed to suspend Gas distribution.
