UPFA MP John Seneviratne, who is a member of the Group of 16 SLFP MPs who recently quit the government, says that former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa is ahead of former Minister Basil Rajapaksa in the political platform.
Seneviratne made this observation during an interview with an electronic media institution.
He said that Gotabhaya would provide a good leadership by 2020.
Seneviratne has continuously stated that Gotabhaya would be the presidential candidate that he would support at the next election.
